Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, President of Bani Swief Technological University, accepted an invitation from Dr. Hamed Ibrahim Mira, Head of the Nuclear Materials Authority, to visit its headquarters in Cairo, in preparation for the signing of a joint cooperation protocol, the strengthening of the existing cooperation, and discussing the joint coordination between the two sides. The meeting was attended by Dr. Gehad Ibrahim, Vice President of the Nuclear Materials Authority, and a number of the Authority’s members.

During the meeting, the Head of the authority expressed his happiness with Dr. Nada’s visit, pointing out to the role of Bani Swief Technological University in promoting technological education and providing qualified graduates capable of handling and developing modern technologies with a distinguished level of knowledge and technological innovation.

The University President stressed that the Nuclear Materials Authority is considered one of the national expertise centers, pointing out to the  cooperation with the authority in the fields of scientific research, benefiting from the laboratory capabilities available in the authority, giving an opportunity for training students and cooperating in the field of scientific research in the various fields to raise the level of the University students, improve the environment, and search for energy sources. He stressed that these things increase the possibility of providing a better life for the citizens, create a good work spirit and increase production.

It is worth mentioning that for the first time this year, the University organized practical trainings for the students at the Nuclear Materials Authority in Cairo with their cooperation, in order to link theoretical study with practical application. Cooperation between Bani Swief Technological University and the various bodies and institutions comes to advance technological education in addition to developing the University’s scientific and cultural relations to promote scientific cooperation and exchange of experiences.
