Supreme council of the technological education
According to the item text no. 7 of the list that organizes technological faculties of higher education ministry issued by ministerial decision no. 2655 in 10/10/2006,
the supreme council of the technological faculties specialize in:
• Put the overall policy of education and training in technological faculties as a response to community needs.
• Meet different country sectors needs of technical and professional graduates.
• Raise the level of technical and professional education and assure the quality in faculties.
• Manage financial resources of faculties to achieve its objectives
• Approve technological faculties boards of trustees’ recommendations.
• Draw the general policy for books and scholastic notes and put its systems.
• Put the general regulations for relationships and work distribution style among faculties’ staff members.
• Determine the acceptance rules in faculties and the proposed numbers for each year depending on the each faculty’s suggestions.
• Form a technical committee to coordinate between institutions and technological faculties symmetrical departments.
• Approve internal lists of technological faculties.
• Discuss and approve the report prepared by education sector director at the end of every scholastic year on technical education in technological faculties and the reports submitted by faculties’ directors as well.
• Study the issues that are forwarded by higher education minister.
