Within the Framework of a Symposium and a Training Program on a New Program for Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology, President of Bani Swief Technological University Tackles the Possibility of Cooperating on Supporting the Prosthetics and Orthotics Technological Program with a Delegation from the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, President of Bani Swief Technological University, received a delegation from the Arab Organization for Industrialization to discuss the possibility of cooperating on supporting the prosthetics and orthotics technological program, including the curriculum and laboratories of the program and its modern technological devices.

During that event, the delegation held a symposium and a training program in this regard for the faculty members. The University President listened to a detailed presentation of the program and its study.

It is worth mentioning that the program is based on the study of the manufacture and maintenance of prosthetic limbs and their functions and how to manufacture the prosthesis such as the hand or legs so that they are suitable for the human body, in addition to evaluation of the rest of the body parts such as straightening the spine and curving the legs. Students also learn how to take the sizes of the prosthesis and design it.
