Dr. Jean-Henry Hanna, President of Beni Suef Technological University, witnessed the activities of the entertainment day for students and workers organized by the Youth Welfare Department, in light of the university’s interest in student activities that contribute to the recreation of students, create an atmosphere of joy, and renew activity and positive energy.
The activities included the participation of the President of the University students in a number of sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis, and the day included the establishment of some fun games such as chess, dominoes, tug of war, puzzle competitions, in addition to a lyrical artistic paragraph.
Dr. Jan pointed out that the university is keen to provide a comprehensive and encouraging educational environment for students, to enhance the sports, social and cultural spirit among students, explaining that the qualification of students should not be limited to the academic aspect only, but must also include cultural and artistic aspects.
The President of the University stressed that one of the priorities of the university is to prepare cadres and raise the efficiency of students by organizing competitions to search for talented people and train them. He pointed out the importance of students’ participation in events and activities organized with the aim of forming a strong and developed student community, and providing a stimulating atmosphere for students’ involvement in sports activities.
