Dr. Jean-Henry Hanna, President of Beni Suef Technological University, received a delegation from the Korean Cultural Center in Egypt to discuss joint cooperation by activating opportunities for cultural and intellectual exchange, and implementing Welcome Korea activities to introduce Korean culture.
The Ahlan Korea event aims to introduce Korean culture and allow to experience and taste Korean culture with its various components of food, traditional costumes and traditional games, as well as shed light on Korean history, language and arts.
Dr. Jan stressed that the university seeks to expand the area of cultural and intellectual exchange, to see everything new in various fields, and to keep pace with the rapid cultural and technological development. He stressed that cultural exchange is of great importance by contributing to the adoption of new visions towards the cultures of different peoples, in addition to refining students’ skills and expanding their horizons in various social, cultural, sports, artistic and other fields.
It is worth noting that Beni Suef Technological University organized last year a visit to the Korean Cultural Center as part of the implementation of Ahlan Korea activities. It aims to provide an opportunity for many Egyptians to experience Korean culture firsthand, which contributes to enhancing understanding and cultural exchange between the two countries.
