Within the framework of community service and in the interest of the university’s service and community role, Dr. Sayed Abdel Qader, President of the Beni Suef Technological University, participated this morning in the works of a charitable convoy organized by the Beni Suef Technological University in cooperation with the Misr El-Kheir Foundation to distribute foodstuffs to the most needy families affected by the Coronavirus, with funding from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The convoy included the distribution of 520 cartons of foodstuffs and 520 kilograms of meat to poor families in Ali Hammouda village and Gezeret Abu Saleh village in Beni Suef, in the presence of Mrs. Hanan Al-Darbashi, Director of Misr El-Khair Foundation, Beni Suef Branch, and representatives of KOICA.
The university president assured that the university does not hesitate to fulfill its mission in community service, noting that the mission of Beni Suef University of Technology is not limited to the advancement of the educational process only, but rather includes effective participation in the societal role in all its forms.
Prof. Abdul Qadir thanked the caravan organizers for their efforts in the charitable field and humanitarian work, indicating that this comes in the framework of lifting the burden on the most needy citizens.
