Under the auspices of Dr. Jean-Henry Hanna, President of Beni Suef University of Technology, the Egyptian-Korean College of Industry and Energy Technology witnessed a discussion of the graduation projects of fourth-year students in the New and Renewable Energy Program in the presence of Dr. Ali Abdel Tawab, Dean of the Faculty, a number of professors, faculty members, the assisting body, and project supervisors amid overwhelming joy from students.
The President of the University stressed that this day is the culmination of the students’ efforts and the end of a long road of work and diligence at the end of university work and a practical step on the ground to determine the extent to which students benefit through their studies over four years.
Dr. Jan pointed out the university’s constant keenness to prepare students capable of facing the challenges of the labor market in order to advance development and the optimal use of human energies and technological capabilities, wishing all students success and success.
For his part, Dr. Ali Abdel Tawab, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the students of the New and Renewable Energy Program presented 7 different projects that reflect their ability to create, innovate and excel, explaining that committees have been held in each program, to provide students with the opportunity to present their projects extensively, as the projects included:
1. Green hydrogen production project by electrolytic separation of water using renewable energy (solar energy) and the use and employment of the resulting hydrogen in the appropriate application.
2. Smart irrigation project using solar energy and the use and application of the project to irrigate the university garden.
3. Solar Panel Cleaner Project, which is a device used to clean solar panels without human intervention to obtain the highest efficiency of panels.
4. Hydrogen production cell and the process of separating oxygen gases from hydrogen and using them in appropriate application as well.
5. Water desalination project using solar energy to desalinate saline and non-potable water and produce pure water suitable for all purposes.
6- Conference hall control project using smart systems by feeding solar energy systems “Smart System”.
7. Beni Suef Technological University project to control and maintain the temperature of the university’s server room and the air conditioners operating in it while dispensing with the human element in controlling it, and using solar energy with the “Tracking System” system to operate
the system.
