Prof. Sayed Abdel Qader, President of Beni Suef Technological University, affirmed the continuation of permanent coordination with the South Korean Embassy, the Korean Agency for International Cooperation (KOICA) and the Korea University of Technology and Education (Koreatech) in order to serve students and benefit from the Korean experience in the field of education and industry alike.

This came during a large ceremony held by the Beni Suef Technological University to inaugurate its educational laboratories and on the occasion of its one-year anniversary in the presence of Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghneim, Governor of Beni Suef, and Ambassador Hong Jin Wook, Ambassador of South Korea to Egypt, Prof. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, Prof. Hussam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University, Mr. Oh Yun Keum, Regional Director of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Mr. Chunky Kwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samsung, members of the parliament and a number of leading and executive figures and industrialists .

At the end of the ceremony, the university president, Prof. Sayed Abdel Qader, the President of the University, presented Mr. Hong Jin-Wook, Ambassador of South Korea to Egypt, the University armor, in appreciation of his interest in the university and his efforts to deepen relations between Egypt and South Korea. He also presented Mr. Oh Yeon Keum, Regional Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and Mr. Chunky Kwan, Chairman of Samsung, the University armors, in appreciation of their efforts in cooperating with the University.
