Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Khedr, the President of Beni-Suef Technological University, received Dr. Mina Youssef Kamel, the Director of University Center for Career Development (UCCD) affiliated with the American University in Cairo, which was established with the support of the United States Agency for International Development. The meeting was attended by Dr. Jean Henry Hanna Toma, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Naguib El-Sheikh, Vice President for Training and Industry Affairs, and Dr. Sherif Kamal, Coordinator of the Renewable Energy Program.
The meeting discussed joint cooperation and completing the procedures for signing a cooperation protocol between Beni-Suef Technological University and the American University in Cairo to establish a branch of the Career Development Center within Beni-Suef Technological University. The aim is to develop students’ skills by providing a comprehensive range of services and training in professional management and entrepreneurship to increase the graduates’ competitive capacity, as well as providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the job market.
Dr. Mohamed Khedr expressed his happiness to cooperate with the American University, which is a leading educational destination in Egypt. He praised the role of the American University in providing diverse programs for capacity development and preparing graduates who are distinguished by their high culture and excellent academic level, which enriches scientific research fields. He welcomed the enhancement of cooperation between the two sides in academic, research, and scientific fields and activities.
