Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Khedr, the President of Beni-Suef Technological University, received a delegation from the Ministries of Defense and Health in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to discuss cooperation in the field of industrial prosthetics and orthotic devices. During the meeting, they discussed enhancing future collaboration, reviewing the latest developments, and addressing the specific requirements and needs related to the industrial prosthetics and orthotic devices program, aiming to improve the quality of educational performance. This comes in light of the state’s interest in national projects and the establishment of an industrial complex for assistive devices for people with disabilities.

The meeting included a detailed presentation about Beni-Suef Technological University, covering the university’s recent expansions, educational programs, technological laboratories, signed protocols with industrial entities and various institutions, as well as the scientific, educational, and community services provided by the university and its future plans.

After the meeting, the university president accompanied the delegation to the Silicon Oasis in Beni-Suef to inspect the specialized laboratories for the industrial prosthetics program and assess their readiness, equipped with the latest modern technological devices and equipment to support the educational process and provide students with the necessary skills for practical applications after graduation.

Dr. Khedr emphasized that the visit falls within the framework of Beni-Suef Technological University’s interest in developing and expanding academic, research, and technological cooperation with different entities and institutions to enhance the educational process and improve performance. He stated that the university aims to equip its laboratories with modern devices and equipment, utilizing the latest technological means in order to provide distinguished educational services to students in various technological fields, aligning with Egypt’s vision for sustainable development “Egypt 2030” and implementing the state’s plan for industrial and technological development.
