This morning, Dr. Syed Abdel Qader, president of Bani Swief Technological University, received a Korean delegation that included Mrs. Yoonraa PARK, the economic attaché of the Embassy of the State of South Korea and her accompanying delegation, Mr. OH Yeon Keum, the regional director of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), to discuss the joint coordination and activate the existing cooperation through the signed agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the State of South Korea to support Bani Swief Technological University, technically and educationally.
During the visit, the Korean delegation, accompanied by the university president, checked the study laboratories of the Korean- Egyptian Faculty for Industry and Energy Technology to determine their readiness to achieve practical benefits during the study process.
Then the delegation watched a presentation introducing Bani Swief Technological University.
It is worth mentioning that the State of South Korea provided technical support, including providing the university’s new study laboratories with the latest technological equipment and devices, in addition to training supervisors and those in charge of these laboratories on how to optimally use these equipment and devices to work with 100% efficiency to achieve the highest desired benefit.
The training was carried out by experts from Korea University of Technology and Education (Korea Tech). These laboratories represent a major leap in the field of technological education in Egypt and qualify the university to be one of the best technological universities in Egypt and the Middle East.
