Dr. Sayed Abdel Qader, president of Bani Swief Technological University, participated in the celebrations of Bani Swief on the occasion of the Governorate’s National Day, March 2021.
The President of the University congratulated Dr. Mohammad Hanea Ghoneim, Governor of Bani Swief, all the security, executive and popular authorities and all the people of Bani Swief on the occasion of the Governorate’s National Day, which coincides with the memory of the sacrifices and heroism of the people of Bani Swief in confronting the English occupation of the country, praising their courage and bravery and their union in confronting and overcoming any obstacles faced by the governorate.
The celebration began with watching a documentary film prepared by the media department in the governorate about the ancient history of Bani Swief. It included reference to the historical occasion of the National Day of Bani Swief, which coincides with the anniversary of the participation of the people of the governorate in the 19 revolution, in addition to a quick reference to the historical eras that passed in Bani Swief from the Pharaonic era, the Coptic, Islamic, modern and contemporary, besides presenting the most prominent archaeological, touristic and historical monuments in it, and the qualitative growth that the governorate has witnessed since President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi took the charge and what has been implemented in terms of national and gigantic projects in many sectors and facilities that have improved the quality of life and raised the standard of living of citizens. The celebration also included a parade of vehicles of the local units as they passed in front of the platform built inside the General Court of the Governorate.
