In the presence of the Minister of Higher Education, the Governor of Beni Suef and the South Korean Ambassador: Beni Suef University of Technology signs a joint cooperation protocol with Samsung.

Beni Suef Technological University, headed by Prof. Sayed Abdel Qader, signed a joint cooperation protocol with Samsung, headed by Mr. Chunky Kwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. The protocol aims to train the students in the filed to acquire distinguished experiences enable them to compete in inner and outer work market. In addition to benefiting from the scientific and practical experiences of the two parties and carrying out joint research that serves the community, with the possibility of establishing joint professional programs to serve technical and technological education.

 

This came during a ceremony held by the Beni Suef Technological University today to inaugurate the new academic laboratories and on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of their establishment and the commencement of their studies in the presence of Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghneim – Governor of Beni Suef, Mr. Hong Jin-Wook – South Korea’s ambassador to Egypt, Prof. Mansour Hassan – President of Beni Suef University, Prof. Hussam Al-Mallahi – President of Al-Nahda University, Mr. Oh Yeon Keum – Regional Director of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Mr. Chunky Kwan – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samsung, members of the House of Representatives and Sheikhs in Beni Suef, and a number of leading and executive figures and industrialists.

The university president said in his speech, “We are meeting today to sign one of the most important partnerships with a global entity, such as Samsung, to benefit scientifically and practically and to promote education and industry in Beni Suef and Egypt in general.”
The University President expressed his happiness with this cooperation, expressing his aspiration to conclude more protocols and partnerships that serve the educational process, stressing that all support be provided to enhance students’ experiences, unleash their energies and abilities, and enhance their spirit of research and creativity to compete in the local, regional and international labor market.

After signing the protocol ceremony, the University President, Prof. Sayed Abdul Qadir, presented Mr. Chunky Kwan, Chairman of the Board of Samsung, the University armor, in appreciation of him and his efforts in cooperation with the University.
Beni Suef Technological University is striving to conclude several cooperation protocols with various bodies and institutions to enhance mutual cooperation and advance technical and technological education, in addition to developing the university’s scientific and cultural relations with all institutions in order to enhance scientific cooperation and exchange experiences, in a way that ensures the achievement of the desired goals for graduation a generation capable of competing in the local, regional and international labor market, and providing the necessary expertise to university students at the scientific and practical level.
