Under the patronage of Dr. Jean-Henry Hanna, President of Beni Suef Technological University, the Youth Welfare Department organized an entertainment day for the children of the care home and institutions in the tourist walkway in Beni Suef, in order to celebrate the orphan’s day, and within the framework of the university’s interest in the service and community role, by providing psychological and moral support to orphaned children.
During the celebration, gifts, toys and sweets were distributed to the orphaned children, which added an atmosphere of joy and pleasure, as the children expressed their happiness with the celebration, and thanked the university administration and students for participating in the celebration and bringing joy to their hearts.
Dr. Jan explained that the celebration of Orphan’s Day comes from the societal role of Beni Suef Technological University in bridging the social gap and instilling the values of social solidarity, considering that orphans are an integral part of society and must be integrated, embraced, cared for and developed their spirit of belonging.
