In line with the directions of the political leadership and Egypt’s strategic plan 2030, and within the framework of the directives of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Major General Eng. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Electronics Factory in the Authority, and a group of Leaders of the Authority, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, President of Bani Swief Technological University, signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, represented by Eng. Abdul Rahman Abdel Azim Othman, Director General of the Authority, authorized by Mr. Lieutenant-General, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors. The protocol aims at mutual benefit from the expertise and laboratories owned by the two sides, providing technical support in various fields, exchanging experiences, research, applied studies, publications and scientific journals, in addition to participating in organizing seminars, scientific conferences and workshops.
The protocol also aims for the cooperation of the two parties in research and scientific projects through the practical experiences of both parties. The two parties also cooperate in the training fields through the implementation of student training in the factories and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the training centers of the authority, and the training of engineers and specialized cadres from the authority at the University.
Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras expressed his gratitude for the signing of the cooperation protocol, praising the efforts made by Bani Swief Technological University to promote technological education. The University president also thanked the Arab Organization for Industrialization and Lieutenant-General Eng. Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, head of the authority, for concluding the protocol, stressing the importance of supporting links and cooperation between Bani Swief Technological University and the Arab Organization for Industrialization to support the quality of the educational performance, which is reflected in Egypt’s technological education system. He also added that he always looks forward to more fruitful cooperation to provide services in the educational, research and academic fields.
Following the protocol signing ceremony, Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras honored Prof. Dr. Nada and handed him the authority’s shield.
Bani Swief Technological University strives to conclude many cooperation protocols with various bodies and institutions to enhance joint cooperation and promote technological education, in addition to developing the University’s local and international scientific and cultural relations towards achieving the desired goals in order to graduate a competitive generation in the local, regional and international labor market, and to provide the necessary expertise for university students at the scientific and practical levels.
