Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Khedr, the President of Beni-Suef Technological University, the University-Industry Collaboration Center (UICC), under the leadership of Dr. Ghada Tawson, the center’s director, organized a seminar entitled “How to Be Successful” featuring Engineer Ahmed Diab, a researcher in the field of new and renewable energy, known as “Zewail El-Said.” The seminar was attended by several faculty members and assistants.
During the event, Diab discussed his experience in scientific research, emphasizing the importance of setting clear goals by creating a list of objectives, committing to them, and striving to achieve them. He also highlighted the significance of having role models and the essential qualities that should be present in them for others to follow and emulate. Furthermore, he addressed how to assist aspiring individuals in achieving their ambitions and benefiting from the experiences of successful figures. The session concluded with Diab answering questions from the students.
Ahmed Diab is an Egyptian youth who graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Fayoum University. He is the founder of alternative thermal cells, replacing solar cells for permanent electricity generation. He was also the first Egyptian and Arab youth to reach the finals of the Stephen Hawking Science Awards for the year 2020/2021. He has participated in over 100 international and local scientific conferences, exhibitions, and competitions. He received the Bronze level of the International Duke of Edinburgh Award in 2022 and the Scientific Excellence Award on Science Day in 2019. Moreover, he was selected among the top 50 influential Arab personalities in the Arab world by the Arab Ambassadors Association at the League of Arab States.
