Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received a report submitted by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, Acting President of Bani Swief Technological University, on cooperation activities with the Korean experts.

The report referred to the activities of the new Korean Language Teaching Center at the University, which is beginning its activity to help students learn the Korean language to refine their language skills with the aim of training and qualifying students according to the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market. It was pointed out that the center is a model for teaching the Korean language which is specialized in technological education at the theoretical and applied levels. Korean experts teach students in halls and laboratories equipped with the latest technological devices, using modern technology in teaching.

The university also received another team of Korean experts to contribute to the development of current academic programs, prepare the University’s Information Technology Program to obtain accreditation from the ABEEK authority which is responsible for quality assurance and accreditation for technological and engineering programs in South Korea, and train the teaching and assistant staff on the use of modern technological techniques in the teaching methods used at the university within the framework of the existing cooperation through the agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and  South Korea to support Bani Swief Technological University technically and educationally.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada assured that the fruitful and continuous cooperation between Bani Swief Technological University and Korean partners complements the University’s plan that aims to promote the field of information technology, in line with the state’s policy in supporting the fields of modern technology and digital transformation in accordance with the international foundations of technological education.
