Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, President of Bani Swief Technological University, checked out the University campus, halls and laboratories to follow up on the progress of the educational process as the new academic year began. Commitment to applying the necessary preventive and precautionary measures was emphasized to confront Corona virus through measuring students’ temperature while entering from the gates, making sure face masks were worn, adhering to distancing between students, preventing gatherings, and preparing and sterilizing lecture halls and laboratories in order to ensure the safety of students, faculty members and University staff.
The University President participated in one of the introductory lectures of the study programs, during which he welcomed the new students and congratulated them on the beginning of the new academic year. Prof. Dr. Nada conducted an open dialogue with the students and listened to their opinions about the progress of the educational process and what has been achieved during training in industrial institutions and entities. He also called on them to cooperate in taking all precautionary measures for their own health and safety, and demanded the need to get vaccinated against Coronavirus.
The University President emphasized that the University has prepared earlier to welcome the new academic year by supporting and equipping the technological infrastructure through providing the halls and laboratories with modern devices and smart boards. He also stressed that this year is planned to witness a development in the educational process through the application of the latest advanced learning methods and the development of a technological program for prosthetics and orthotics which is a new technological program that will meet the needs of the labor market for qualified technologists in the medical field in Egypt and the region.
Prof. Dr. Nada recommended that attention should be paid to the various student activities, stressing that the University continues to support these activities, whether sports, cultural or social activities, and to expand participation in them among students along with the educational process, believing in the importance of these activities in shaping the student’s personality.
