Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, President of Bani Swief Technological University, received Mr. Oh Yun-kyeom, the Country Director of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) at the head of the accompanying delegation to enhance joint cooperation, study the possibility of developing future work plans and discuss joint coordination to activate the existing cooperation through the signed agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the State of South Korea to support Bani Swief Technological University technically and educationally.

During the visit, the Korean delegation, accompanied by the University President, checked out the laboratories at the Egyptian-Korean Faculty of Technological Industry and Energy to determine its readiness for the new academic year in order to achieve the most practical benefit during the study process.

The delegation then watched a detailed presentation of the capabilities of Bani Swief Technological University presented by the University President. The presentation included an explanation of the academic programs offered by the university, the existing technological laboratories, the signed protocols with various industrial entities and bodies, the university’s future plan, and examples of what was created and developed in the last short period since his assumption of the presidency of the University.

It is worth mentioning that the State of South Korea provided technical support to Bani Swief Technological University which includes providing the University’s laboratories with the latest technological devices and equipment, in addition to training supervisors and those in charge of these laboratories on how to optimally use these equipment and devices to work with 100% efficiency to achieve the highest desired benefit. The University laboratories are considered a major leap in the field of technical and technological education in Egypt and qualifies the University to be one of the most important technological universities in Egypt and the Middle East.
