In the presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, President of Bani Swief Technological University, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between New Cairo Technological University and the Federation of Egyptian Industries at the University’s headquarters in Cairo.
During the signing of the protocol, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research stressed that the protocol aims to strengthen the relationship between the technological universities system and industrial bodies, achieve integration between their curriculum, teaching methods and the needs of the labor market, as well as providing practical training opportunities for students and qualifying them to work after graduation. He added that technological universities offer a distinguished model in education based on constant communication with the labor market, and teaching curriculums according to the latest systems used in technological education internationally to serve the local and international labor market.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Ghaffar, called the Federation of Industries to sign more agreements with the rest of the technological universities, and to cooperate in providing them with technical advice that contributes to the development of the educational process and the achieving of a direct yield to technical education on serving the Egyptian productive sectors. He also pointed out that the establishment of 6 new technological universities is currently underway in (Port Said, Assiut, Tiba, Burj Al-Arab, 6th of October, and Al-Gharbia).
During the signing of the protocol, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, University President, gave a detailed presentation of the capabilities of Bani Swief Technological University. The presentation included an explanation of the study programs it offers, the technological labs in it, the signed protocols with various industrial entities, bodies and companies, and the University’s future plan.
The signing of the protocol was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister for University Affairs and acting as the President of New Cairo Technological University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Hewy, Advisor to the Minister for Technical Education and Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund, Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel-Khaleq, President of Delta Technological University, representatives of industrial chambers, and representatives of the Technological Education Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities.
