This morning, Dr. Sayed Abdel Qader, President of the Beni Suef Technological University, inspected the first round of the Student Union elections at the Egyptian-Korean College of Industry and Energy Technology, which started at nine in the morning and continued until three in the afternoon, as the elections started with voting in the ballot boxes inside the college after the end of a three-day propaganda period The run-off will take place tomorrow, Monday.

The university president monitored the students’ arrival at the election boxes, stressing the importance of participating in this important event, and the university’s keenness to support student unions to play their role in representing students, organizing student activities, and the importance of motivating students to participate in them, and supporting communication between students and faculty members.
Prof. Abdel Qader stressed the commitment to precautionary measures and the follow-up of preventive methods in order to limit the spread of Corona virus.
Elections for committee secretaries and their assistants will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, December 22, and on the following day the elections for the president and vice president of the union at the college level. The elections will conclude on Thursday, December 24 with the election of the university union’s president, his deputy, committee secretaries and their assistants.
