Dr. Jean-Henry Hanna, President of Beni Suef Technological University, received it. A delegation of American and Jordanian experts from ResearchOne Marketing Consulting and DCG, to discuss cooperation, hold discussions on the areas of technical and technological education development in Egypt, and get to know Beni Suef Technological University as one of the first technological universities in Egypt and what it has achieved in the field of technical and technological education development.
The meeting reviewed aspects of cooperation with the Program of Technical Institutes and Community Colleges for Administrative Positions (CCAP), an initiative of the US Department of State and the bilateral Fulbright Committee in Egypt. It aims to promote international understanding of the U.S. community college system among directors of post-secondary vocational and technical educational institutions.
Dr. Jan stressed that the establishment of a new technological education track that differs from traditional university education came to change the societal culture towards technical education, and relieve pressure on it in line with the needs of the times and the current labor market. It also maximizes the added value of Egyptian human resources by preparing graduates with high technical skills, and are able to deal with modern technology.
ResearchOne Marketing Consulting is collaborating with the Local Communications Group (DCG) to carry out an evaluation of the Community Colleges and Community Colleges for Management Positions (CCAP) program on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
