Under the patronage of Dr. Jean-Henry Hanna, President of Beni Suef Technological University, the university hosted an initiative under the slogan “Youth with a National Identity” organized by a campaign with its youth to encourage students to participate in the 2024 presidential elections, and urge them to exercise their electoral right. It was with the participation of Dr. Ali Abdel Tawab, Dean of the Egyptian-Korean College of Industry and Energy Technology.
During the meeting, a dialogue took place with the students about the concept of political participation, its forms and levels, and the importance of creating a kind of positivity and participation during the upcoming presidential elections, and expressing opinion consciously, honestly and objectively.
For his part, Dr. Jan stressed the importance of opening new horizons for dialogue with young people to motivate them to participate positively in the presidential elections, and to deepen the awareness of the Egyptian people and their ability to make the right choice that determines the future of their country. He stressed the importance of the role of youth in Egyptian political life, and exerting effort to develop the spirit of positive participation among them, enhance the spirit of national belonging, and interact with them by listening to their opinions and demands, and multiple perspectives to deepen the future vision that builds the country.
It is worth mentioning that the “With Her Youth” initiative aims to enhance political and cultural awareness among young people, at the level of the Republic, by motivating them to participate politically, and enhancing their sense of social and national responsibility, by holding meetings at cafes, restaurants, streets, clubs and youth gathering places in villages and cities of the governorates.
