Under the patronage of Dr. Jan Henri Hanna, President of Beni Suef Technological University, the Youth Welfare Department organized a blood donation campaign in cooperation with the Regional Blood Transfusion Center in Beni Suef, within the framework of community development and spreading cultural and health awareness among students and university employees, with the participation of Dr. Ali Abdel Tawab, Dean of the Egyptian-Korean Faculty of Technological Industry and Energy.
Dr. Jean Henry emphasized that the campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation and spread this culture among university students, which is an important part of the humanitarian responsibility and mission that the university carries out in its community to provide the best services in various fields.
The campaign aims to increase the porportion of blood donors in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and provide a safe and sufficient supply of blood and its derivatives to the people of Beni Suef Governorate without the need to travel to the main center in Cairo or other governorates
